본 연구에서는 사회구조적 위기 상황에서 해체와 재구성을 광범위하게 경험하고 있는 한국과 일본의 가족 변화를 배경으로, 특별히 2000년 이후 주목 받고 있는 비혈연 및 패러사이트 싱글 가족의 한일 비교를 시도해보고자 하였다. 한국과 일본의 가족 비교를 위해서는 사회 현실을 투영하고 있는 대중매체로서 영화에 주목하여, 한국의 <고령화 가족>과 일본의<어느 가족>을 선택하였다. 두 편의 영화가 동시에 초점을 맞추고 있는 새로운 가족 형태의하나인 패러사이트 싱글 (캥거루 가족)과 관련해서 특기할만한 사실은 미혼의 젊은 세대를지나 생애주기상 중년기에 진입한 중년 패러사이트 싱글(신캥거루 가족) 하에서 새로운 가족관계가 파생되고 있다는 점일 것이다. 실제로 <고령화 가족>에서는 69세 고령의 엄마가 가족경제를 책임지며 장성한 자녀를 돌보는 상황을 재현하고 있고, <어느 가족>에서는 중년 패러사이트 싱글의 공생적 단계를 지나 마지막 단계라 할 가족파산의 징후까지 포착해내고 있다. 두 편의 영화 분석 결과, 가족은 사회구조적 변화의 소용돌이 속에서 전략적 차원의 적응을선택하고 있다는 점, 더불어 가족이란 무엇인가에 대한 근본적 질문에 대한 답을 구하고 있다는 점에서 공통점을 보이고 있었다. 반면 미묘한 차이점도 노출하고 있어, 한국 영화 속가족이 정서적 유대와 단란함을 궁극적 이상으로 삼는다면 일본 영화 속 가족은 “きずな(키즈나)”의 실현을 도모하고 있음이 눈에 띄었다. 엄마의 헌신과 희생으로 가족이 유지되는 동시에 자녀들은 엄마를 향한 효도를 중시한다는 점이 한국 가족의 특징이라면, 일본 가족은혈연관계에 연연해하지 않는다는 점과 효의 가치나 모성 역할이 두드러지지 않는다는 특징을보이고 있었다. 가족이 사회적 개인적 관계적 기능을 수행하기 위해서는 사회적 지원이 절대적으로 필요하다. 현실 가족이 “가족난민(家族難民)”의 지위로 떨어지지 않도록 하기 위해서 는 국가가 공인하는 “정상가족” 범주 이외의 비혈연 가족에 대한 지원과 더불어, 현재 가족단위의 사회보장으로 인해 사각지대에 머물러 있는 구성원들을 위한 개인 단위의 사회보장도입 등이 필요할 것이다. 본 연구는 영화 속 비혈연 및 패러사이트 싱글 가족을 통해 가족의 현주소는 물론 가족의 미래를 예단해보았다는 점에서 의의가 있다 할 것이다.

In this study, we focused on family changes between Korea and Japan, which have experienced widespread dismantling and reconstruction in a social crisis, and especially on the comparison of Parasite families that have been receiving attention since 2000. The comparison between Korea and Japan was chosen as a movie that reflects society: Korea's <Boomerang Family> and Japan's <Shoplifters>. The analysis shows that two movies are focusing on the new family style, which is Parasite Single or Kangaroos. Even more remarkable is the fact that, new family relationships are being derived under middle-aged Parasite single and New Kangaroo Family(Twixter), passing through younger generations of unmarried people. <Boomerang Family> is reproducing a 69-year-old mother who is responsible for the family income and taking care of her grown-up children, and in <Shoplifters>, it also captures the signs of family bankruptcy, the last stage of a middle-aged parasite single. Social support is absolutely necessary for a family to perform social, personal and related functions. We will have to hurry to prepare ourselves that "Family refugee” has been discussed by Professor Yamada are not to be tied to the refugee status. In addition to support for Non-blood-family members who fall outside the category of the families recognized by the state, a variety of real-life support systems such as the introduction of social security for individual members staying in the blind spot is essential, who are in blind areas due to current family-unit oriented support system. The study will be meaningful not only to present the family 's current situation but also to predict the future of the family through the Parasite family in the movie.
